Research Collaboration

To achieve the objectives of Department research focus, DFST makes use of the most potential strength of its resources and identify potential mutual partners (government, universities or industries) in-country and abroad. The collaborative work identified includes research, internship, concepts or policy recommendation. The outputs of the colla-borations are expected to create high quality food products, technologies and other inventions adoptable by food industries as well as concepts or recommenda-tions for government policies or regulations to provide alternative solution of nati-onal problems in food security. They are also expected to move DFST toward international recognition. In the long run, the program is expected to improve DFST’s research, teaching and services performance, provide more oppor-tunity for international internship for both students and Faculty members, and generate funding to support academic program for students and Faculty members.

DFST continuously encourages staff productivity to improve the quality and increase the number of research projects and create research collaboration with any institution or private sector nationally and internationally.
